Malvern Panalytical

Particle Characterization Seminar

In partnership with SFU and 4D LABS, Malvern Panalytical is presenting a technical seminar on the capability and use of a laser diffraction-based particle characterization instrument located in 4D LABS that can measure a broad range of materials and sizes. The instrument can measure particles over a wide range of sizes and the material can be measured both in a wet and dry form.

Laser Diffraction based Particle Size Analyzer

Laser diffraction presents a robust solution for particle size measurement across a wide variety of applications, and in many industrial sectors it is now the technique of choice. Over the last decade or so laser diffraction analyzers have become more flexible, easier to use, and highly automated. The Mastersizer range, with its intuitive software and industry-leading design and ergonomics, enables users to make these particle sizing measurements fast and routine and accurate.

Mastersizer 3000 – with Liquid and Powder Dispersion Unit

The Mastersizer range of laser diffraction particle size analyzers set the standard for delivering rapid, accurate particle size distributions for both wet and dry dispersions. Sizes from 10 nanometers to 3500 micrometers can measured.
